Aman Sharma
Co-Founder & Chief Functionary Officer
Aman Sharma is the driving force behind TEACH. As Co-Founder and Chief Functionary Officer, he leads the organization with a bold vision to become the leading higher education provider for the deaf and hard of hearing in India.
An MBA graduate from NMIMS, Aman spent 7 years at JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank as Risk Manager. It was here that volunteering experiences gave him his first exposure to the plight of the deaf and hard of hearing community, and he began learning Indian Sign Language in his spare time.
His journey as a social entrepreneur began in 2016 when he kickstarted TEACH and left the corporate sector forever. In 2024 he was honored with the Keshav Srushti Puraskaar Award – for excellence in social work, recognizing his selfless dedication to the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Deepesh Nair
Co-Founder & Chief Operating
Officer
Deepesh Nair is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at TEACH and plays a strategic role in overseeing the delivery of programs across campuses. With an MBA from KJ Somaiya and over 12 years of corporate experience at JP Morgan and Citi Bank, Deepesh co-founded TEACH in 2016.
Inspired by his volunteer teaching experiences, he walked away from a lucrative corporate career to become a social worker – becoming fluent in Indian Sign Language, and conceptualising a higher education institute with his friend and corporate colleague, Aman Sharma.
In 2025 Deepesh was honoured with the Professor Yashwantrao Kelkar Youth Award 2024 which recognises young leaders making significant strides in education, society, environment, and science.
